The automated doffing robot consists of four main parts: a pick-and-place manipulator, a full-yarn hoisting manipulator, an empty tube conveying system, and an AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) trolley. These parts are relatively independent yet interconnected. The AGV trolley automatically positions itself according to a set stride. The positioning accuracy of the pick-and-place manipulator represents the core technology of the doffing robot, determining its working efficiency and production level.

The robot achieves a high positioning accuracy of ±0.05mm, with small errors and high stability. Combined with the dual-arm system and AGV trolley, it greatly improves production line efficiency, enabling effective, accurate, and rapid roving doffing. It can be integrated with new textile machinery manufacturers without altering the roving frame structure, or it can be used for technical upgrades of existing roving frames in cotton spinning mills, achieving the goals of improving automation levels, saving labor costs, and increasing production efficiency.
